President Mike called meeting to order and Dale Poslosky led the club in Pledge of Allegiance. Dave Fitzgerald provided the invocation.

Announcements: Darrel Hollinger congratulated the club on achieving Century Club status by donating $100 per member to Foundation. This year has been the fastest in a while to achieve this status. Recognition pin was added to the Rotary banner.
Prez Mike presented to the membership the slate of officers for the 2008-2009 year. They are President: Chris Goellner; President Elect: Denice McKeown; Vice President: Mike Elam; Secretary: Chris Hoffman; Treasurer: Luanne Cundiff; Sgt @ Arms: To Be Determined; Community Service: Basil Zarkadis; Vocational Service: Jennifer Flores; Club Service: Brenda Lowder; International Service, Foundation & Membership: To Be Determined.

Prez Mike next announced that members need to sign up for the offsite meeting at Ameristar on March 6 as they need an accurate headcount for lunch and the tour. And....mark your calendars for an unplanned offsite on March 13. The club will meet at PIO's on First Capitol and Fourth Streets, upstairs banquet room. An email reminder will be sent to all club members.
Sgt@Arms: In Bobbie's absence, Dale Poslosky graciously assumed the microphone and asked John Hammond about his photo in the Ladue News. John serves on the Chesterfield Art Board. Of course, he paid!
Dale announced that he was following thru on Bobbie's suggestion that all who did not wear red for Valentine's Day pay a buck.
Next, John Lundin announced the grand opening of their new facility at Hope Lutheran Church on Sunday, March 2 at 2 p.m. He invited all to join in their festivities and, subsequently announced that our club will be hosting a Music Trivia Nite fundraiser at this facility on May 16, 2008 to benefit children's charities in St. Charles County.
Nadine Boon was happy that Dave Glover would be playing at the Art of the Motorcycle fundraiser for the Art Foundry on March 8.
Dave Fitzgerald was happy about the $27.3 million capital improvements that were coming to St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles, to include an updated ER, ICU, etc.
Terry Brown was happy about AAA's recent affiliation with California. Diane Garrison chipped in a big twenty ($20) bucks because she's been MIA! Lori Kohrs was happy and thankful for Mike Elam's assistance and expertise in developing a radio spot ad for United Services.
Ashlee Johnson announced that Chris Hoffman was one of 53 nominees for the Honors Program sponsored by Commerce Bank and St. Charles Business Magazine.
Mike Sommer was proud of the new red tie he sported, given to him by his 6 year old daughter for Valentine's Day. Dale Poslosky announced that while he was saddened to have an aunt pass away, he was happy that it brought about a wonderful family reunion.
Veto Reid announced the passing of Lisa Baue's mother, Jill, after which Prez Mike advised club members of Jill Kluesner's father, Leo Slater.
Program: Today's speaker was Ollie Kahn, a Pakistani, who provided information to members on the Islamic faith.
50/50 - $38 has been built up in our progressive pot, and Ben Francisco was the winner of the entire pot! Congrats Ben!
